As someone who raced as a professional triathlete for many years, I know how hard it is to balance training with the rest of life. Strength training was essential for me in staying healthy but it was always the first thing that fell off the program when life became busy. Now that I'm coaching, I find that this is a common problem athletes struggle with across the board. Everyone knows how important strength training is for success and longevity in sport but we all find it hard to stay on top of. This is where Bands and Bodyweight comes in. The purpose of this program is not only to build strength, but to improve stability and mobility for injury prevention. I wrote this program hoping you practice a little and often, fitting it in anywhere that you have some clear space and exercise bands. My hope is that this program supports you to be a stronger and less injury prone athlete, but also allows you to see the benefits strength has in your day to day life.
